Trump defends ‘America first’ foreign policy at U.N., threatens to ‘totally destroy’ North Korea
September 18, 2017
President Donald Trump on Tuesday delivered a toughly worded defense of his "America first" foreign policy in his inaugural address to the United Nations and threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea if necessary.
The president, speaking at the United Nations' hallowed green-marble rostrum, also excoriated the international nuclear deal with Iran as an "embarrassment" and strongly hinted that his administration would soon back out, against the wishes of many nations in the room.

Category 5 Hurricane Maria is plowing toward the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico — truly a nightmare situation for these islands. Does it Matter Whether You Believe Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, or Post-Trib?
We Shall All Be Changed
In the Bible, 1 Corinthians describes our final victory:
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Paul says this occurs at the last trump, which the Bible tells us is the seventh trumpet. 1 Corinthians 15 and Revelation 11:15 are referring to the same thing. For the trumpet shall sound, the dead shall be raised, and we shall be changed.

Fear, Skepticism and Confusion
From the fear of “the bomb” in the early 1950s, to the global warming scare today that America is dying in a sea of pollution, “the end of the world” has concerned us since we were school children. Today, we continue to live in fear of nuclear annihilation, terrorism, epidemics, droughts, famine, tsunamis and earthquakes.
Many see a connection between today’s news and the ancient “end-time” prophecies recorded in scripture. Others have become skeptical because of the failed “end of the world” prophecies of self-styled prophets. Such skepticism has been driven by educators and theologians who question the accuracy and authority of scripture. Ordinary people, who say they believe in God, are confused about the future because they don’t know what the Bible actually says.

Are We Living in the End Times? Billy Graham, Franklin Graham respond
September 13, 2017
Amid multiple intense hurricanes, a powerful earthquake, wildfires and worldwide unrest, many are compelled to ask - are we living in the End Times? Evangelist Billy Graham says that while the world is arguably the most dangerous it has ever been, it's important to remember that evil will not win, and some day Christ's victory over evil and injustice will be complete.
In a recent "My Answers" blog post on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association website, the 98-year-old evangelist responded to a question posed by a reader.
"I can't help but wonder if we're living in the last days," the reader wrote. "Are we? There's so much conflict and turmoil in the world, and I don't see any answer unless God intervenes and brings it all to an end. Am I being too pessimistic?"

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. —1 Thessalonians 5:1-5 (ESV)
